Lundbeckfonden wishes to receive draft proposals for large 3-5-year biomedical science projects. These projects must be innovative, ground-breaking and of a high international standard, with a funding limit of DKK 10 million. Projects, which can involve either basic research or applied research, must be carried out and headed by a person in Denmark and preferably in collaboration with international partners.
A brief draft of the project, of no more than three pages, and an estimated budget must be submitted to Lundbeckfonden via the electronic application system
Lundbeckfonden's biomedical science panel will review the submitted project drafts and then nominate one or more projects for further development. The nominated applicants must then prepare a detailed project description. The project description will be sent for external peer review by two to three internationally renowned scientists.
On this basis, Lundbeckfonden's research committee evaluates and prioritizes the applications. If the project is approved by Lundbeckfonden's research committee, the project will be recommended for approval by Lundbeckfonden's Board of Trustees.
The application must be in English.
