Scientific Programme Manager Frontier Grants The Lundbeck Foundation
The Lundbeck Foundation is one of Denmark’s largest commercial foundations. By our independent research grants we strive to benefit Danish-based biomedical sciences research, science education and research communication.
Scientific Programme Manager
Frontier Grants
We have experienced that maturing basic research to a financeable and commercially tangible venture opportunity, requires activities that often fall outside the scope supported by traditional grants.
To fill that gap, Lundbeck Foundation has now introduced Frontier Grants to facilitate the transition from basic research with significant potential to an attractive prospect for investors.
In essence, a Frontier Grant serves the dual purpose to mature the science, at the frontiers of its field, along with its talented innovators.
The scope of the Frontier Grants covers all projects within health science or enabling technologies, with a duration of up to 18 months and a max budget of DKK 7.5 m. The recipients of Frontier Grants will receive mentoring, including portfolio executives and other experts.
The successful candidate will together with the Senior Scientific Director form a team of two with primary responsibility for the Frontier Grants and participate in a working group with members from LF Grants & Prizes and LF BioCapital.
