Lundbeck Foundation prizes awarded to six talented young researchers

The Lundbeck Foundation’s 2022 Talent Prize and Young Investigator Prize have been award to six young health science researchers at Danish hospitals and universities.

The largest of these prizes is the 2022 Lundbeck Foundation Young Investigator Prize, worth DKK 1 million, of which DKK 700,000 is earmarked for research, while the remainder is a personal award.

The 2022 Lundbeck Foundation Talent Prize is being awarded to five researchers under the age of 30. They will each receive DKK 200,000 to help fund their research as well as a personal award of DKK 100,000.

‘Lundbeck Foundation is delighted to be supporting these extremely talented researchers,’ says Jan Egebjerg, Scientific Director of Lundbeck Foundation, and continues:

‘The prizewinners have all achieved outstanding research results, which point towards the development of new and improved treatments and greater understanding of a range of disorders for the benefit of future patients. All have made exceptional contributions to science deserving of accolades – and all serve as inspiration for other young researchers.’
