Lars is responsible for the development of Lundbeck Foundation's strategic initiatives within neuroscience.
In addition, Lars has the responsibility for the following programs in open competition:

Before Lars started working in charitable foundations, he worked for 16 years with research and development of drugs within neurology and psychiatry in the pharmaceutical industry. From his work in drug discovery and clinical research, Lars has experience of the entire innovation process, from conception of an idea to commercialisation.
Lars holds a M.Sc. in biochemistry and has a Ph.D. in neuropharmacology from the University of Copenhagen.
