FAST (Fast Assessment of psychiatric Symptoms to Transform) Mental Health Care

Associate Professor
The Technical University of Denmark

Line Katrine Harder Clemmensen, associate professor, Department of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, Technical University of Denmark, has been awarded a Lundbeck Foundation LF Experiments research grant worth DKK 2,000,000.

This project will make diagnostic assessments of psychiatric diagnoses more efficient by developing a low-cost AI screening tool that can assist clinicians in deciding who should be assessed for specific psychiatric disorders. This decision support tool will enable psychiatric clinics to automatically sort and prioritize referred youth for specific assessments. The proposed digital phenotyping will support diagnostics, reduce the number of missed diagnoses and time-to-treatment, and pave the way to data-informed therapies with a means of continuous monitoring.
